multility brings together a wide range of data streams: data from upstream systems, metering data, import files, API connections and documents generated directly from master data. These become billing-ready data packages and internal invoices without media breaks.
A consumption point is not limited to a meter. It is a data point and can represent any physical or logical object. Any utility type can likewise be set up in a structured way and given its own price classes.
Every document and every processing step is defined forwards and backwards by a status diagram. Incoming documents pass through clear statuses such as created, checked, billed or cancelled, and so do outgoing documents. This keeps every step of billing traceable and audit-proof.
Any contract can be invoiced on behalf of a third party and sent to its end customers, with its own logo, colours, QR code, bank details and contacts. multility maps the financial flow between the multility operator and the third party automatically and VAT-compliant across all connected systems.
Additional charges such as subscription or processing fees can be assigned to the right party through stored processes or master data and billed directly on the customer invoice without manual effort.
After invoicing, multility delivers the output in any format and layout. Invoices, statistics and data exports go to end customers or other systems, and the accounting journal goes automatically to your financial accounting.
Two examples from our projects:
For a client in e-mobility we switched the charging station back ends to Monta and connected them to multility. multility is also integrated into the client’s master data governance systems via Artemis MQ.
EnergyDeal creates an integrated invoice from the load profile data and tariff data of any utility. It can then be reconciled with the costs incurred later and provides a daily full-cost view of energy.
